I am currently in Week 1. Next week will be Week 2 of the elimination diet but I am worried. Next Thursday I have to make a business trip out-of-town to attend a seminar. I won't return until Saturday night. All meals are included in the seminar (Thursday, Friday & Saturday). Days will be long -- 7 AM - 9 PM and my hotel room will not have a refrigerator. Please advise on action steps.

Not an easy situation...but not impossible either. Since all meals are provided, try to seek out all meats and fish and load up on veggie foods and skip all breads, other grains, sweets, and foods you have already been avoiding for the elim. diet. The quality of the proteins may not be top notch but I would rather see you eat these for a few days than compromise the elimination diet you have already been doing. Maybe bring some extra fruit with you that does not need to be refrigerated- apples, pear, bananas, etc. and also bring a bunch of nuts/seeds so that you can snack on these if needed. Try not to overeat and stay away from alcohol. Its only a few days- you can do it.
