Dr. Kendra-
I just viewed your YouTube video on Coffee Addiction, which was so informative!

What brand of Tyrosine do you recommend or take yourself?

I also have a few questions concerning Adrenal Repair Supplements. First, can you recommend a product for this? Second, how do you recommend taking this?

I have level 5 Adrenal Stress and I am really focused on getting this turned around!

Thank you!

Re: Coffee Addiction

It is okay to have coffee within reason, but I like the resourcefulness of everyone on here. I am fairly new with the company and I am on the diet so I might try some of the tips on here.

Re: Coffee Addiction

I have a coffee addiction, it's so bad I bought a coffee shop. I have found a new coffee that is non acidic, it is 100% Certified Organic no pesticides or chemicals and it is fused with 100% Certified Organic Ganoderma. You would have to Google Ganoderma to find out more about that, but what it does is make the coffee pH balanced and that goes a long way in keeping the whole body functioning. Also combined with Gano the coffee delivers over 150 anti-oxidants, way more than green tea or just about any other health drink, juice or berry. Although you can get a 100% Certified Organic Green Tea with the Ganoderma. Since I own a coffee shop of course I sell it so although you may consider this an ad my real intention is to share something that can supplement all of our health if we drink coffee. The name of the coffee is Organo Gold and if you want more information http://www.italiancow.organogold.com
Also I have been doing the HCG for 5 wks now and have dropped 40 lbs and I have a couple of cups of coffee regularly. Good luck to all of you.

Sleep

Hi Dawn,
I feel your pain. I don't know how Dr. Abramson feels about this, but I purchased a sublingual form of melatonin and take that each night before I go to sleep. It took about 2 weeks, but I began sleeping better. Not perfect, but definitely better. Before I couldn't sleep more than 2 hours at a time. Now I can sleep from 5-8 hours--not every night, but enough to keep me functional.

Hey Doc--what do you think? Is it ok to continue on this?

Tammy

Re: caffeine and adrenal repair

Thanks Dr. Winnie!
This is the biggie in red:

Quote:
Make sure to get good sleep, eat mini-meals and have protein and good fat with each meal and use Himalayan salt...these are the basics that along with the supplements will help replenish the adrenals.

I am doing the mini meals or grazing, good protein and fats with each, and I am using Real Salt (does that brand work?)

As far as sleep, I walk around each day feeling like a zombie, only to fall asleep and then wake up around 1-2 in the morning. I am too tired to get up. My body is wiped, it is just my mind that's doing somersaults.

I appreciate you!

caffeine and adrenal repair

We have the tyrosine and adrenal repair supplement recommended by Dr. Pearsall in the Enlita store. Start with the dose on the bottle(s), but if your adrenal fatigue is very severe, you may need a bit more. Make sure to get good sleep, eat mini-meals and have protein and good fat with each meal and use Himalayan salt...these are the basics that along with the supplements will help replenish the adrenals.
